So for one little girl, i apparenlty managed to rack up QUITE a load of stuff. I only had my parents truck for one day, so I refused to make more than one trip. That is what the back of the truck looked like, the front was full, both front and back seat. Heck, the whole cab was stuffed so I was having to keep my purse in my lap. But i did it. My car was pretty full when i went back for it that night. it's just AMAZING how much crap you can collect. And i wouldn't dream of getting rid of a thing. Got some great looks on the road though. May I not move again for a LONG time!

Ariel Came!
The first week here was rough. It was sun up to sun down busy with the new office and the endless unpacking. (I STILL have a couple of small boxes.) it was just a lot of new, so I was SO excited to see a familiar face. Ariel is one of my favorite people and she came to see me.
Only posted 2 pictures, but we did a lot. It made my first weekend fabulous, even though she had to go back Saturday. So thankful for both good friends and new beginnings.

Just another Manic Monday
I LOVE mondays. That's not even sarcastic either. If the day goes badly, then you can just blame it on being a typical Monday. If its good, then WOW, you beat the system. Besides, Monday's I am still recharged and finding humor in all the little magical pop ups in life. You know, the one's that just make you sit back and go "hmmmm...." Or sometimes I go through the day wondering if Fate is just laughing her butt off somewhere as she just keeps spinning randomness into my little universe. (This might not make sense unless you know me and just how out of the ordinary my day usually goes.) I used to think I only had random moments as a nanny, because no day is ordinary with children involved, but I was DEAD wrong. The random luck continues and somehow seems to multiply and grow.
Today was one of those days of a thousand random things popping up. THEN i got this phonecall at work from a client. It wasn't even our office's client, it was one of the Globe clients, but the phone rolled over to my office. And of course the client was an 81 year old lady that couldn't hear a THING. So after 5 minutes of YELLING into the phone just to try to get a name, I finally realize that I can't schedule her the day she wants....and she CURSED at me! i just spent seriously forever, repeating myself to the point that all i really wanted to do was hang up the phone and hope she forgot that she called me all together, but talked myself out of it by thinking of what i would want someone to do for my grandmother, and then she CURSED me out!!!
With that moment, my day was officially complete. Thank goodness for Mondays for helping the other days of the week seem like cake.

The City - Cami Style
First week in the City and it hasn't been too bad. Moving itself was an event all its own. Not that packing everything up and trying to get it down and fit it into my tiny apartment wasn't hard enough, things just kept happening. But I made it and am functioning thanks to the best twin brother in the world and a lot of support from friends back home and Mike. I am SO glad he is here. He even traveled back to Safford with me just so I wouldn't have to drive both trips all by myself in the same day.
Still haven't found room for all my stuff yet and just broke down and started eliminating a bunch of it. Our apartment isn't bad either. Some of the neighbors are different and I'm pretty sure a few of them have been on episodes of Cops before, but I don't judge as long as they leave me alone!
The new office is nice and so is everybody in it. It's definatley not the same as my beloved Safford office. I miss the people I worked with SO much. I at least have contact with them and they sent me a lovely plant. I want to name my plant Spike or Harold, but Mike things Pi-tree, so its still up in the air.
So right now I am just trying to get a footing on everything. Can't wait to have one week under my belt. Haven't been too homesick, but every now and again it hits. When I go to the gym and see two girls chatting it up or see kids playing in front of our apartment and realize I can't but into either situation without seeming like a crazy person, I miss my comfort zone. Mostly I just don't feel like I live here yet. It's like an extended visit. I always did overpack for trips down here.
So no crazy stories yet, but mostly its just been work, gym, and going through boxes. We'll see what the weekend brings. :) I miss all my friends so much and I think of you EVERY day. Keep you all posted.
Hugs and Kisses!

Preperation H - Lesson learned

The last week or two I have been insanely tired and have had an upset stomach and nausea. Well last night I started feeling better and ate, and regretted it immidiately. After puking my guts out all night I woke up feeling better but looking scrap dog in the worst ways. My eyes were swollen with HUGE puffy bags.
I went to work anyway, but I could tell by the clients' reactions that I was looking bad. Then I decided at lunch I would get some visine and something for the bags. In my little head I remember hearing that you can put preperation H on and it gets rid of puffy eyes. Well its impossible to find anything in Walmart and I had no idea what preperation H was exactly or where to find it....so I asked.
Couldn't figure out why the employee was acting so weird and awkward until I looked at the box. Hemorrhoid cream..... Who knew? THIS is what happens when you don't have cable.
Boy Meets World - Quotable Quotes
I was searching the internet to find that quote where Topanga talks if she had a country/world that women would rule and men would be chained up underground and only used for reproduction purposes. By the way, if anyone knows that one or finds it, please let me know. It's very important to me and a friend of mine. Anyway, I didn't find that one, but I did find a ton of hilarious ones. Here is a lot of them. I chose to leave out the mushy gushy ones. We all know its the random and obsurd statements that make a show great.
