Merry Main Street

MERRY MAIN
Finally got these off my camera.
Friday was cold, but we still had a lot of fun at Merry Main.
Tami let me borrow these 3 to walk around with me.
You can tell Lilly was just thrilled.

The Wear
We went into the new store and LOVED it! The girls helped me pick out stuff
and we dug through the jewelry and sunglasses. It's a really cute store and I highly recommend it.

Amy Curtis told me where Mrs. Claus was and that I would recognize her.
Didn't know she meant I would know the person dressed as Mrs. Claus!
We had to get a picture with Kari and then they let the kids decorate cookies and write
letters to santa. Somehow Lilly managed to walk out with all kinds of treats though.
No one knows how she does these things.
It was really just so much fun. We looked at so much stuff and it just helped get us in the Christmas spirit. So glad the Curtis family still lets me be in their life too. I honestly couldn't imagine my life without them.

Black Friday

Black Friday.

HOW appropriate.

Actually, I was a really good day. Got my first digital camera, got in a REALLY good run and got to go to Merry Main.

I have some pictures of that, but they are on the new camera I am still figuring out. But for now you just get to hear about the black part of my black Friday.

After going out with the kids I went home to get ready to go see friends, and there was this odd smell coming from downstairs. I went to see what it was and our pump had gotten plugged and water was ALL over the basement. 2 hours later and gallons of smelly water later and it was finally cleaned up. Then we were moving things around and putting things back, and I was carrying something up the stairs when they decided to attack me! The score stands:

Stairs-1 Cami-0

Here is the end result.

Turkey Day

These are the pictures off my phone. I just got a camera and will put those pictures up soon.

This is how the weekend started....

Tera came down...

Leseli Pearson and I "hung around" at a pre-Thanksgiving dinner.

Couldn't help the cheesy line and this is the best picture we got.

Then came Turkey DAY!!!

It was FREEZING and wet at the Turkey Trot, but we had SO much fun.

(It's such a pretty picture, I know.)

And of course I went to see Tami and the kids.

I have some of Tami too, but left them out for her sake (THIS TIME, Tami)

And then Dinner with Christie and the Rodriguez clan.

Best sweet potatoes ever!

And of Course My twin, my favorite part of the whole Holiday!!!!
It was a really good holiday and once again I was reminded of just how lucky I am. I love the people in my life SO much and they have made me who I am (The good parts of me, anyway.)
Love you all so much!!!

Orange Thief at Large.

I try to eat healthy. I really do. Oatmeal, fruit, veggies, whole wheat bread and pasta, raw almonds, blah blah blah. So since I eat so much fiber and all that, I get extremely hungry and irritable if I don't eat something every 2-3 hours (4 is super pushing it). Knowing this, I bring lots of healthy snacks to work. So today I started to feel my energy levels dropping and headed back to the kitchen for something to eat. When I went to get my orange, however, someone had STOLEN it and EATEN it!
Who takes someone else's orange?! Especially when we have ice cream sandwiches and a huge candy bowl they can all eat from. Some of us can't have that, so when our fruit is MISSING we have NOTHING!
So sad for my little orange. I was so excited for our time together. :(

Munchkin Night

This last Friday I had my Curtis babies over! I miss them so much hadn't seen them since the fair, so I invited them over for a sleepover with my friend Christie and the 2 kids she nannies as well. It was SO much fun! We all made carmel apples and played an old school twister.

They stayed up SO late watching movies and playing games. Hide and seek was my personal favorite, even though it was more like sardines because they all ended up in basically the same hiding spots anyway.

People might think I'm weird, and a lot think it would be exhausting. But they really are the BEST behaved kids and I couldn't imagine my life without a single one of them.
